If you feel that you do not fully identify with the gender you were assigned at birth and also feel a connection to another gender, you may identify as bigender. If you feel that your gender identity does not align with the sex you were assigned at birth, you may identify as transgender. It's important to explore your feelings, seek support from the LGBTQ+ community, and consider speaking with a therapist who specializes in gender identity to help you navigate your feelings and identity. **

It is always best to respect and affirm someone's self-identification, regardless of whether it aligns with our own understanding or expectations. It is important to approach these conversations with an open mind and a willingness to learn and understand. **
